Through the Friendship Circle Volunteer Club, remarkable bonds are forged between the children with special needs and their new friends.
A volunteer’s commitment and willingness to give of their time reminds us that today’s men and women, both young and old, are caring, compassionate, and dedicated to making a difference in every child and adult they encounter.

Where are you from and how did you get involved?
I am from Ottawa, but have lived in Montreal for the past five years. I first heard about the Friendship Circle when Mushky came to a volunteer fair at my University. Sunday Circle sounded like a lot of fun and I decided to try it out. I have been volunteering ever since.
How did friendship circle have a positive impact on your life?
Whenever I come to the Friendship Circle I always feel so welcomed and loved. University is often stressful and when I come to the Friendship Circle I am able to relax and have a good time and see old and new friends week after week.
How will you implement & spread the friendship circle motto in your daily life?
Friendship Circle has taught me that everyone has something different to contribute to the community and to be accepting of others even if they might be different from you.
