Through the Friendship Circle Volunteer Club, remarkable bonds are forged between the children with special needs and their new friends.
A volunteer’s commitment and willingness to give of their time reminds us that today’s men and women, both young and old, are caring, compassionate, and dedicated to making a difference in every child and adult they encounter.

Honoring Sabrina Ifrani
Where are you from and how did you get involved?
I was born in Montreal but my mom's family is originally from Armenia. I got involved because I wanted and needed to do a certain amount of hours of volunteer work for my program at school and i knew i wanted to do something related to kids. My mother's boss had told her that he and his children sometimes volunteer at Friendship circle and that if I was interested he could make a call for me to come in for an interview.
What is your favourite moment at The Friendship Circle?
My favorite moment at Friendship circle is when the kids or teens recognize me and come and say hi or talk to me. To me it means that i have had a certain impact on them in one way or another, which makes me happy
How did Friendship Circle have a positive impact on your life?
I've always known that I wanted to be a children and/or teen psychologist to help and make a difference in they're lives. Being at Friendship Circle has given me that opportunity even though it's in a different way. .
How will you implement & spread the friendship circle motto in your daily life?
I've always been someone who tries to include everyone and be as kind as possible to those around me. After my experience at Friendship Circle, I will continue to do so but have a better understanding of those who are different from me. Also, I will have concrete examples to share with those who have biased opinions about people with disabilities to show them that they can be as capable as we are.
