Through the Friendship Circle Volunteer Club, remarkable bonds are forged between the children with special needs and their new friends.
A volunteer’s commitment and willingness to give of their time reminds us that today’s men and women, both young and old, are caring, compassionate, and dedicated to making a difference in every child and adult they encounter.

Where are you from and how did you get involved?
I heard about Friendship Circle through my sister Samantha Jacobson and thought it was an incredible and rewarding organization.
What is your favourite moment at The Friendship Circle?
Here, I have had many wonderful experiences, one of which was when I first began to volunteer, everyone was so welcoming and friendly. My buddy and I bonded instantly through our love for music and singing.
How did Friendship Circle have a positive impact on your life?
Friendship circle has enabled me to come in contact with many people with a wide range of backgrounds and has allowed me to give back to the community and help those in need. It can be very hard to feel accepted when you have disabilities and Friendship Circle is a safe environment that offers them with an experience of friendship, inclusion and acceptance.
How will you implement & spread the friendship circle motto in your daily life?
Friendship circle has taught me to strive to become a better person and to accept everyone as they are. I endeavor to spread to others the values of this organization to the best of my abilities in the hopes of spreading the joy and comfort this organization gives.
